Yam Yam Restaurant in Lindau

The food is great. Unfortunately, today we would have to wait extremely long for the delicious food.

Sushi was super tasty, we had to wait a bit longer as the place was full, but the waiter informed us promptly and served starters on the house. +1 for great selection of juices.

The food is just great, we were not disappointed as sushi fans. Forget the cheap sushi from the conveyor belt. The Yamyam is a true paradise for gourmets.Unfortunately, quality also has its price, the prices are very high and not comparable to a fast food.May change as soon as there is more competition in Lindau.Otherwise we would be happy to come back.Take food with you, of course.

Food was very good. Had app pho and salmon sashimi. Portions were good and fresh and delicious.Service was horrible. Only about 5 tables in the restaurant. They messed up my water/coffee order twice. Overall everything came painfully slow. I don't mind a long meal when I am with friends but eating by myself, it shouldn't take 2 Hours. Each thing took a half hour and the woman got upset when I said I have to leave I can't drink the coffee that you served to the table next to me. So I am torn because the food when it finally came out was good but I hate even mediocre service. Maybe takeout is the way to go here

the lunch menu was very good and priceworthy, the still water was almost 4 euros though

Good Vietnamese in Lindau, noodle soup was very flavorful. Sushi looked good too. Friendly service. Nice change from the "German" kitchen.

Service friendly, waiting time average. Ambience really nice. Spring rolls were delicious with a great dip. The expectation of the sushi was quite high. Very well crafted. The taste is rather bland. Tasted a bit watery, rice was unleavened and the soy sauce was rather reserved.

Disaster when we asked the waitress if we were allowed to sit at another table, she hysterically shouted no. The food was not that great, service was very, very rude, five times we asked for the bill, after the sixth time she brought the bill. Price performance was also extremely expensive for being stupid. Excellent sushi

The Yam Yam wants to be discovered, hidden in a side lane, the entrance is quickly overlooked. Pure coincidence led us into this recommendable, sympathetic restaurant. Our salad starter (mango / chicken ...) and the main menus were savory and appetizingly served on the plate. Attentive and friendly the service. Only the Vietnamese coffee, that is not the bean, because it stays with the Italian. Nevertheless, we will gladly visit the Yam Yam again.Tip: Pho soup in the cold season, as a starter or main course ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

In the historic center of the island of Lindau this Asian restaurant is a great alternative to German food if you want to stay a little lighter. Housed in an interior courtyard, it has a very characteristic decor and the owners are courteous.The sushi is good to the taste a little less aesthetically beautiful than the one prepared by the Japanese, but as a starter it goes just fine. Excellent the Udon with meat and vegetables.

Long wait. The ordered food (including salmon) was unfortunately not available and was exchanged. The food was good, but unfortunately not as ordered.Otherwise definitely not recommended in the current situation. Masks are not worn or only inadequately worn in the kitchen. Wer Sushi mag ist hier sehr gut aufgehoben, hat wirklich super geschmeckt und das Ambiente ist auch sehr gut gelungen. Den einen Stern Abzug gibt es für die nicht ganz so gute Beratung für nicht Sushi Kenner. Also wenn ihr in Lindau seit schaut ruhig mal vorbei und dann heisst es Yam Yam 😋

My wife's crispy chicken was a poem. My salmon sashimi is a dream. If we hadn't thought of being spoiled in tranquil Lindau (at least in February). Really good and recommendable.

You can eat delicious sushi here. Not off the line and all fresh.Unfortunately it is a bit fresh in the rooms, if it gets slightly cold you should take a sweater with you.We will definitely be back 👌👌👌

Bring a lot of time!There are 5/5 stars for the food, which is really excellent.Only the service leaves something to be desired in my opinion.I have been there several times and so far it has always been the same. The only service in the restaurant brings you to the table, where you wait about 5-10 minutes for the menu. After another 10 -15 minutes you will only come to drink and eat.Experience has shown that you usually wait an hour for your meal to appear. I give it 3/5 stars for the service.

Food is super tasty. Ambience could be better - as the kitchen is open to the guest room, everything incl the guests and their cloths smell fried. An absolute no go nowadays: they accept cash only. No cards whatsoever. You unfortunately still see that often in Germany. Service was friendly but slow.

I am really happy that there is such a good sushi restaurant here. The food tastes delicious and the value for money is right. The only downside: if you have eaten here first time in the laundry, because everything stinks of food. Therefore 1 point deduction. The rest is wonderful. There are also great sushi creations. We recommend.
